Weekend Preview: Euless

Dec 9, 2015

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – After another off weekend the Brahmas are finally back in action, this time against the Euless Jr. Stars!

THE STARS: Things have been rolling in the right direction as of late for the team going 5-2 in their last seven contests.  In four out of those five the Stars scored five goals or more so despite being inconsistent, their offense is there at times.

Kayne Fedor has been the go-to guy so far this season up front and he’s been a monster as of late.  Averaging a goal and an assist per game the ten points lead the team over the course of the last five games, however, he’ll miss Friday night’s game as a result of a suspension.

THE BRAHMAS: The three most recent games for the team were arguable their best of the season, scoring an unreal 24 goals in three games.  Now, it’s a matter of making sure the players are rested but not lax.

A perfect 6-0 head-to-head record is on the line when these two teams face-off this weekend but this time around it’ll be the Tyler Myers show.  With Brandon Perrone called up to the Big Brahmas the Colorado native is expected to man the crease both nights for the cross-town rivalry.

THE DIFFERENCE: Defense.  They say the best offense is a good defense and the Brahmas back-enders exemplify that statement.  The six defensemen on Euless’ roster have combined for 26 points but are a -112.  On the other hand, the Brahmas six have 53 points and are a +103.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 on both Friday and Saturday in Euless and Brahma fans are encourage to come on out and support!
