The Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the College Station Spirit with 76 shots throughout the game, to go along with Tyler Myers' shutout. The Texas Brahmas took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Kellen Ireland and never looked back.

Cameron Tobey delivered for his team with 2 goals and Kyle Cote chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

During the first, Ireland opened the scoring for Texas with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:44 with a helper from defenseman Croswell. Cote put in a goal at 17:51 with an assist from defenseman Walsh. Shimamoto quickly followed with a goal at 18:34 with helpers from his linemates, Ireland and Weycker.

In the second, Tobey deposited a goal at 2:07 with an assist from defenseman Croswell. Kasai put in a goal at 13:37.

During the third, Tobey netted a goal at 3:28. Cote scored a goal at 8:28 with helpers from his linemates, Weycker and Bersani. Croswell deposited a goal at 11:50 with an assist from Cote.

The Brahmas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Myers’ shutout, as he stopped all 26 of the shots he faced. Myers’ counterpart, O’toole, also had a big night, managing to stop 68 of 76, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (7-1-0-0).
