The Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the College Station Spirit with 52 shots throughout the game, to go along with Carson Murison's shutout. The Texas Brahmas took the lead early in the first on a goal from Adam Shimamoto and never looked back.

Adam Shimamoto delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Hunter Bersani did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Shimamoto opened the scoring for Texas with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:49 with a helper from Casto. Sykes deposited a goal at 7:54. Cote quickly followed with a goal at 9:14. Seger netted a goal at 12:02 with an assist from his linemate Weycker.

In the second, Weycker put in a goal at 5:49 with a helper from fellow Brahmas forward Bersani. Croswell scored a goal at 9:43 with an assist from Tiedemann. Ripley quickly followed with a goal at 10:32.

During the third period, Casto deposited a goal at 8:19 with a helper from his linemate Shimamoto. Walsh netted a goal at 13:58 with an assist from his teammate Shimamoto. Bersani scored a goal at 18:26 with helpers from his linemates, Tiedemann and Casto.

The Brahmas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Murison’s shutout, as he stopped all 27 of the shots he faced. Murison’s counterpart, Parker, also had a big night, managing to stop 4 of 7, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (6-1-0-0).
