The Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the Mid Cities Jr. Stars with 34 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead late in the first on a goal from Sam Sykes and never looked back.
In the first, Ireland opened the scoring for Texas with a goal at 15:05 with helpers from his linemates, Norris and Tiedemann. Sykes put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:30 with assists from teammates Shimamoto and Bickford.
During the second period, Linna finally put the Jr. Stars on the board with a goal at 3:16 with helpers from Nosov and Koehn.
In the third, Trazzera answered for the Brahmas with a goal at 18:46.
Texas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Murison as he stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced. Murison’s counterpart, Ange, also had a big night, managing to stop 31 of 33, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (12-1-0-0).
