Tyler Myers posted a shutout, stopping all 30 of the Atlanta Capitals shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead early in the second on a goal from Kyle Cote.
Michael Redmon did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
In the second, Cote opened the scoring for Texas with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:28 with helpers from his linemates, Sykes and Redmon.
During the third period, Redmon deposited a goal at 8:08 with an assist from Dekumbis.
The Brahmas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Myers’ shutout, as he stopped all 30 of the shots he faced. On the other hand, Myers’ counterpart, Konin, and Atlanta’s defense did not have such a great night stopping only 21 of 23 shots.
This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (33-6-0-0).
