The Brahmas crushed the Stars 5-2

The Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the New England Stars with 29 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead late in the first on a goal from Michael Redmon and never looked back.

Michael Redmon chipped in with 2 goals and Mark Strazisar did his part, adding 2 assists. Tyson Gudaitis delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Redmon opened the scoring for Texas with a goal at 7:40 with helpers from Bombardir and Croswell. Bickford deposited a goal at 10:59 with a helper from his teammate Strazisar. Redmon put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:54. Gudaitis quickly followed with a goal at 19:01 with assists from his linemates, Johnson and Lempiainen.

During the second period, Ireland answered for the Brahmas with a goal at 8:25 with helpers from his linemates, Bersani and Strazisar. Wilson answered for New England with a goal at 15:03 with assists from his linemates, Norris and Gudaitis.

In the third, Sykes answered for Texas with a goal at 19:54 with a helper from fellow Brahmas forward Davis.

Texas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Murison as he stopped 17 of the 19 shots he faced. On the other hand, Murison’s counterpart, Moon, and the Stars’ defense had a rough outing allowing 4 goals in 28 shots.

This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (5-1-0-0).
