The Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the College Station Spirit with 51 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead early in the second on a goal from Ashton Norris.
Ashton Norris contributed with 2 goals and Cameron Tobey did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
During the first period, Norris opened the scoring for Texas with a goal at 9:27 with helpers from his teammates Holland and Ireland. Ireland netted a goal at 11:54 with assists from Bickford and Walsh.
In the second, Norris put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:42 with a helper from Cote. Casto deposited a goal at 5:55 with assists from his linemates, Shimamoto and Tobey. Tobey scored a goal at 10:33 with helpers from Bombardir and Casto.
During the third period, Palamara finally put the Spirit on the board with a goal at 8:59. Strazisar netted a goal at 17:51 with an assist from his linemate Elliott.
The Brahmas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Murison as he stopped 19 of the 21 shots he faced. Murison’s counterpart, Pilely, also had a big night, managing to stop 46 of 51, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (3-1-0-0).
