The Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the Mid Cities Jr. Stars with 25 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Dakota Davis.
Cameron Bickford chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Hunter Bersani did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
In the first, Sheridan opened the scoring for the Jr. Stars with a goal at 9:25 with a helper from his linemate Rooney.
During the second period, Redmon answered for the Brahmas with a goal at 8:55 with helpers from his teammates Sykes and Bickford. Davis deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:52 with assists from his linemates, Tiedemann and Redmon. Bickford put in a goal at 16:32 with helpers from Croswell and Bersani. Bickford netted a goal at 19:15.
In the third, Bersani scored a goal at 7:34 with assists from Croswell and Dekumbis.
The Brahmas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Myers as he stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced. On the other hand, Myers’ counterpart, Lenz, and Mid Cities’ defense saw a few pucks go by allowing 4 goals in 16 shots.
This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (37-6-0-0).
