Players To Watch: MLK Day Weekend

Jan 15, 2016

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – As Brahmas hockey returns, so does our Players to Watch feature.  Here’s who you should keep an eye on this weekend.

BRANDON BAKER – It is now confirmed that the ’95 defenseman will return to the lineup against Sugar Land, thus finally giving the Brahmas six healthy men defending the blue line for the first time in months.

Coach Al Rooney says Baker has looked “energized” and “looked great in practice”.

ZACK ANDERSEN – #28 has been quite in terms of scoring for relatively the last month.  However, his bench boss feels that that could change this weekend thanks to his line elevating it’s play to the next level.

Andersen can be found on the wing opposite to Victor Ekk and beside Brock Brown.

RYAN DUNNER – The leading point getter returns to the lineup after a brief trip up to Odessa of the North American Hockey League.  #22 has won Player of the Week honors in the last two weeks he’s played and his coach expects more of the same in the upcoming three games.

The Glassboro, New Jersey native has 11 points in his last four games.
