Players To Watch: Euless

Jan 28, 2016

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – After a few lineup changes since their most recent contest, here are the three players you’ll want to pay special attention to this weekend in Euless!

Trey Greene – Coach Rooney feels the newest Brahma has looked good in practice, and he is expected to bring a shot of grit and energy to the lineup.  Greene has good speed and mobility, which will fit in nicely with the team’s high-pressure forecheck.

Greene will wear #16 for the Brahmas this weekend and Brahmalandhas every reason to be excited for this debut.

Victor Ekk – Victor has been a force for the Brahmas this season both production wise as well as bringing energy to the bench and team.  No one plays with as much passion and vigor as Ekk.

Since returning to the team post-North American Hockey League stint, Victor has continued to dazzle in the offense zone and provide a key knack for the net.  Along with his three-point weekend against Sugar Land, the Russian sensation also rang a few off of the crossbar, inches away from multiple other strikes.

Bennett Weycker – #26 has started to find his form recently and the reins have been loosened on him this week to allow him to play the physical style that enabled Bennett to become a Brahma. Coach Rooney has admitted that he consciously got him away from it a bit so as not to draw as many penalties, but has now decided to unleash the beast once again and let Bennet be the force he can be out there.

Prepare yourself; it could be an entire new entity from the Appleton, Wisconsin native.
