FRISCO, TX – After back-to-back wins last week against the Euless Jr. Stars, the NA3HL recognized that the Texas Brahmas have a star of their own.  Goaltender Tyler Myers was named the NA3HL South Star of the week.

The second-year Brahma from Thornton, Colorado stopped 51 of 53 shots in the two games giving him at .963 save percentage.  Myers is undefeated in net this season with a 5-0-0 record, 128 total saves and only six goals allowed so far this season.

“Tyler has been one of our most consistent players on and off the ice the past couple of weeks. The way he competes in practice really shows in the game. His level of competition and enthusiasm during practices is contagious, and it helps his teammates to perform better,” Head Coach Michael Hill said.

With Myers’ help the Texas Brahmas are 5-1-0 on the season. The Texas Brahmas travel to Louisiana to take on the Drillers over the weekend of October 21st before returning home to face College Station Spirit October 28th. Puck drop for the home game is scheduled for 7:35.
