McCallum Travels With Lone Star

Oct 15, 2016

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – Defenseman Niklas McCallum is the first Texas Brahma from the 2016-17 season to be called up the the NAHL.
McCallum joined the Lone Star Brahmas for their weekend trip to Amarillo as an emergency call-up.  Despite not playing in any of the games, this certainly will not be the last time the Texas Brahma’s captain gets an opportunity to play Tier II hockey.

McCallum was named captain in the off-season and has one goal and six assists in six games so far this season. The experience he gained while traveling with the Lone Star Brahmas will only help him to better prepare for the rest of the NA3HL season and future opportunities to see ice in the NAHL.

This week, McCallum will practice with Lone Star for a few days.

The Texas Brahmas are traveling to Louisiana this weekend to fave the Drillers. They will return home October 28 facing the College Station Spirit. Puck drops for the home game at 7:35 pm.
