Hamilton’s goals lift Point Mallard to 3-1 victory over Texas

Point Mallard relied on the scoring touch of Josh Hamilton, who netted two goals, to beat Texas, 3-1.

Hamilton\’s tallies came at 8:45 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Point Mallard and 19:37 into the third to make the score 3-1 Point Mallard.

After the loss made the series score 1-0 in the best of three series, Texas faces elimination next time out.

Point Mallard did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying a minimal one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Point Mallard also got a goal from Jake Champaign as well. More assists for Point Mallard came via Cooper Seedott, who had one and Jake Cox, who had three.
