NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – Led by a fast start and a hot power play the Brahmas toppled the Louisiana Drillers by a score of 7-1 for the second consecutive day.

The monstrous first period included goals from four different players.  Kyle Galloway and George Hansen recorded power play strikes, while Bryan Whelan hammered home yet another two-on-one and Oliver Hay used his big frame in front to bury a second effort.

When the team’s came out of the locker room not much had changed as just 2:50 into the second Kyle Galloway got his second of the afternoon, assisted by Ryan Dunner.

Through five goals Dunner had an impressive four assists, however he would be ejected early in the second period as a result of a retaliation penalty that would see both him and Brayden Hutchinson of the Drillers head back down their respective tunnels.

In the third Noah Klinksy slipped backdoor for this third of the season and Victor Ekk got his fourth goal in two days, that too coming on the power play.

In net for the Brahmas, Brandon Perrone picked up his ninth win of the season stopping nine out of the 10 sent his way.

The two teams will battle one final time this weekend, tomorrow at 2:05 at NYTEX Sports Centre.  Admission is free so come on out and support the team as they search for yet another home sweep.
