Cote's hat trick helped the Brahmas crush the Jr. Stars 7-2

Kyle Cote led the way with a hat trick as the Texas Brahmas crushed the Mid Cities Jr. Stars 7-2 in a home game at Dr. Pepper StarCenter-Euless in Texas. Cameron Bickford also had a big night with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists). What's more, the Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the Jr. Stars with 26 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead early in the second on a goal from Vincent Dekumbis.

Michael Redmon did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Vincent Dekumbis contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Joey Mcintyre delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Cote opened the scoring for Texas with a goal at 18:38 with a helper from defenseman Bombardir. Sheridan quickly followed with a goal at 19:25 with helpers from his linemates, Mcintyre and Rooney.

In the second, Bickford answered for the Brahmas with a goal at 3:36. Dekumbis quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:58 with an assist from Bersani. Mcintyre answered for Mid Cities with a goal at 16:03 with helpers from his linemates, Greco and Simpson.

In the third period, Bickford answered for the Brahmas with a goal at 3:04 with an assist from his teammate Redmon. Cote netted a goal at 12:20 with helpers from Bickford and Strazisar. Redmon scored a goal at 17:07 with an assist from defenseman Bickford. Cote quickly followed with a goal at 17:39 with helpers from Croswell and Dekumbis.

Texas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Myers as he stopped 22 of the 24 shots he faced. On the other hand, Myers’ counterpart, Lenz, and Mid Cities’ defense saw a few pucks go by stopping only 19 of 26 shots.

This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (4-1-0-0).
