Brahma Land welcomes Collin Hire, a Trine University graduate, as the new Equipment Manager of the Texas Brahmas. Collin‘s sports management skill sets gained at Trine University made the addition of Hire to Brahmas Hockey (earlier this summer) a “no-brainer” given the fact he already gained hockey experience as the equipment manager of the Trine Thunder Men’s Hockey team. NYTEX Sports Shop Manager Jess Friederich and Collin Hire worked side by side in that capacity prior to her graduation last year. Collin is already becoming a familiar face in all departments around the NYTEX Sports Centre, including Sports Shop, Summer Sports Camp, and Operations. Collin and Jess are coordinators of the NYTEX Adult League Hockey programs.
Brahmas Hockey and NYTEX Sports Centre will continue to nurture this blossoming relationship with Trine University alongside the established relationships with NCAA universities, colleges, and hockey programs. The future appears bright for the Trine students who have joined Brahma Land, nestled in the scenic suburban mid-cities between Fort Worth and Dallas with convenient access to DFW International Airport, Love Field, and the innumerable opportunities the DFW metroplex offers our community. The PATH of Development in Brahma Land is credited by professionals like Frankie Trazzera, Jess Friederich, Brooklynn Gravel, & Collin Hire, because of the strength of the Trine-Brahmas relationship.
NAHL Hockey returns to the NYTEX Sports Centre full force on Labor Day weekend, with visits expected by the Amarillo Wranglers and the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Additionally, that weekend will also showcase the United Heroes League Armed Forces Hockey Classic. The season is nigh upon us!
