NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The Texas Brahmas took sole possession of first place in the South Division with their sweep of the Louisiana Drillers over the weekend. They lead with 30 points, 3 ahead of second place Atlanta Capitals and 4 ahead of 3rd place Euless Jr. Stars. The Brahmas record jumped to 15-2-0.
The Brahmas out shot the Drillers 100-27 over the weekend. Brahmas goalies Samuel Solomon had 11 saves on Saturday night and Anthony D’aloisio with 14 on Sunday afternoon.
Saturday’s goals were scored by Sylvain Rooney, Jacob Peterson Tyler Schulz, Melker Kroon and Hunter Bersani, who scored two. Sunday’s were put in net from Kyle Torgerson, Cole Schulz, Jacob Peterson and Zak Albers.
The Brahmas will prep this week for a tougher game Euless Jr. Stars come to NYTEX on Friday, December 2.
