Brahmas Move to First Place in the South

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX- The Texas Brahmas move in to first place in the South Division after sweeping the Point Mallard Ducks in a two game series over the weekend. Saturday, Zach Satalino made his Brahmas debut memorable with a goal in both the second and third period. Both goals were scored in the first 30 seconds of the periods, keeping Point Mallard’s goaltender, Joey Bernardini, on his toes. Melter Kroon, Dakota Davis and Kyle Torgerson whipped a few more past Bernardini making the final score 5-2. Tyler Myers in goal for the Brahmas helped his team out with 19 saves and a few impressive stops that had the crowd on their feet.

Myers kept up the hard work Sunday with 20 saves to help his team to a 3-1 win. Dakota Davis scored goals in the 1st and 2nd period and Slyvain Rooney in the 2nd securing the win and taking the Brahmas record to 13-2-0 with 26 points on the season.

The Brahmas next host the Louisiana Drillers November 26th with a 7:35pm puck drop at NYTEX Sports Centre in North Richland Hills.
