Brahmas Drillers Preview

Feb 3, 2017

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The Texas Brahmas host the Louisiana Drillers for a two game series this weekend. Only one point behind the Atlanta Capitals for first place in the South Division, the Brahmas have a chance to move in to first, depending on how their games and Atlanta’s games turn out.

The Brahmas are undefeated against Louisiana, winning all seven of their match-ups. The closest game came on January 16, when both goaltenders held on to an shut out through regulation. Brahmas were able to sneak a goal past, Louisiana’s Santer Seppinen in overtime for the 1-0 win.

Louisiana’s point leader, Kristian Kause has faced the Brahmas four times. Once, as a member of the North Iowa Bulls (before acquired by the Drillers) during the NA3HL Showcase. Kause has not had a positive point performance against Texas.

Drillers’ leading scorer, Brandon Vukasin, has played in all seven games against Texas and has scored in two of them.

Texas Brahmas are currently 25-8-0 on the season and look to better that record Friday and Saturday night at NYTEX Sports Centre. Puck drops both nights at 7:35 pm.
