Brahmas Drillers Preview

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The Texas Brahmas look to end a five game losing streak this weekend as they travel to Lafayette to face the Louisiana Drillers. Brahmas have won all four match-ups against the Drillers this season.

Louisiana currently sits in fifth place in the South Division with 20 points and the Brahmas in second with exactly twice as many points.

The Drillers recently acquired  rookie and Finland native Kristian Kause from the North Iowa Bulls. Krause has played three games with the Drillers racking three goals and two assists already. He currently leads the team in total points. The top scorer, Brandon Vukasin, has 15 goals this season, one of them against Brahmas goalie, Samuel Solomon, on October 23, 2016.

Brahmas top scorers, Melker Kroon and Kyle Torgerson have a combined four goals against Louisiana. Texas goalies have only allowed four goals in the four games played, while Brahmas offense have swiped 14 total past Drillers netminders, with no less than 3 per game.

Three games this weekend will be Saturday and Sunday with a puck drop at 4:00 pm and Monday at 12:00 pm. All games will be played at Planet Ice in Lafayette, Louisiana.
