The Brahmas shutout the Drillers 6-0

Carson Murison posted a shutout, stopping all 20 of the Louisiana Drillers shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Vincent Dekumbis and never looked back.

Michael Redmon contributed with 2 goals and Sam Sykes had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first, Dekumbis opened the scoring for Texas with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:05 with helpers from his linemates, Bersani and Sykes.

During the second, Redmon deposited a goal at 1:54 with an assist from Norris. Redmon netted a goal at 10:05 with helpers from Bickford and Bersani. Sykes quickly followed with a goal at 11:46 with assists from his teammates Bickford and Brown Iii. Bersani scored a goal at 15:45 with helpers from Bickford and Sykes.

In the third period, Walsh put in a goal at 16:56 with assists from Strazisar and Davis.

Texas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Murison’s shutout, as he stopped all 20 of the shots he faced. Murison’s counterpart, Varricchio, also had a big night, managing to stop 27 of 32, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (28-5-0-0).
