The Brahmas defeat the Jr. Stars 4-2

The Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the Mid Cities Jr. Stars with 25 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Adam Shimamoto.

Cameron Bickford did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Jake Casto chipped in with 2 assists. Bryce Harrison delivered for his team with 2 assists.

During the first period, Trazzera opened the scoring for Texas with a goal at 3:59 with helpers from teammates Croswell and Norris. Smith answered for Mid Cities with a goal at 6:53 with a helper from defenseman Harrison. Tiedemann answered for the Brahmas with a goal at 11:19 with assists from his linemates, Casto and Norris.

During the second period, Brain answered for the Jr. Stars with a goal at 5:15 with an assist from defenseman Harrison. Shimamoto answered for Texas with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:10 with helpers from Bickford and Casto.

In the third period, Bickford scored a goal at 19:37 with assists from Bersani and Norris.

The Brahmas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Murison as he stopped 23 of the 25 shots he faced. On the other hand, Murison’s counterpart, Ange, and Mid Cities’ defense did not have such a great night allowing 3 goals in 24 shots.

This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (40-13-2-0).
