The Brahmas defeat the Ducks 4-3

Carson Murison came up big, stopping 29 of 32 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Kyle Cote.

Bennett Weycker delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Dakota Davis had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Matt Goodman chipped in with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first period, Polcaro opened the scoring for the Ducks with a goal at 6:42 with helpers from teammates Evans and Goodman. Weycker answered for Texas with a goal at 14:16 with helpers from his linemates, Davis and Tobey. Weycker netted a goal at 17:08 with assists from Croswell and Tobey.

In the second, Goodman answered for the Ducks with a goal at 0:33 with assists from Horton and Dlugach.

In the third period, Laplante put in a goal at 5:43 with helpers from Chun and Goodman. Davis quickly followed with a goal at 7:01 with helpers from his linemates, Tobey and Weycker. Cote deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:47 with assists from Croswell and Bombardir.

Texas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Murison’s big night as he stopped 29 of the 32 shots he faced. Murison’s counterpart, O’shaughnessy, also had a big night, managing to stop 32 of 36, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (18-1-0-0).
