The Brahmas crushed the Jr. Stars 6-3

The Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the Mid Cities Jr. Stars with 30 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead early in the third on a goal from Cameron Bickford.

Kyle Cote chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Ashton Norris delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Nick Sheridan contributed with 2 goals.

During the first, Norris opened the scoring for Texas with a goal at 15:54 with helpers from teammates Gray and Croswell. Sheridan answered for Mid Cities with a goal at 18:08 with helpers from Harrison and Fisher.

In the second period, Simpson deposited a goal at 2:17 with an assist from defenseman Wood. Weycker answered for Texas with a goal at 13:49 with assists from Bombardir and Redmon. Ireland netted a goal at 16:38 with helpers from his linemates, Cote and Seger.

During the third period, Bickford put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 2:08 with assists from Norris and Gray. Davis scored a goal at 13:04 with helpers from Walsh and Seger. Sheridan quickly followed with a goal at 14:18 with assists from Speights and Nick. Cote answered for Texas with a goal at 19:22 with helpers from Croswell and Bombardir.

The Brahmas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Murison as he stopped 18 of the 21 shots he faced. On the other hand, Murison’s counterpart, Lenz, and the Jr. Stars’ defense saw a few pucks go by allowing 5 goals in 29 shots.

This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (3-1-0-0).
