The Brahmas crushed the Drillers 5-2

The Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the Louisiana Drillers with 38 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead late in the second on a goal from Michael Redmon.

Hunter Bersani delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Mark Strazisar had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 assists. Mitch Dolese contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Dolese opened the scoring for Louisiana with a goal at 3:10 with a helper from Wotta. Bersani answered for the Brahmas with a goal at 18:12 with helpers from his linemates, Strazisar and Dekumbis.

During the second, Watzka answered for the Drillers with a goal at 18:14 with assists from Dolese and Smith. Gray quickly followed with a goal at 19:04 with helpers from his teammates Brown Iii and Holland. Redmon quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:16 with assists from Walsh and Bickford.

During the third, Ireland netted a goal at 15:13 with helpers from his linemates, Bersani and Strazisar. Sykes scored a goal at 19:19 with assists from Weycker and Holland.

The Brahmas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Myers as he stopped 20 of the 22 shots he faced. Myers’ counterpart, Varricchio, also had a big night, managing to stop 33 of 37, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (38-6-0-0).
