Redmon's hat trick helped the Brahmas crush the Ducks 7-4

Michael Redmon led the way with a hat trick as the Texas Brahmas crushed the Point Mallard Ducks 7-4 in a home game at NYTEX Sports Center in Texas. What's more, the Texas Brahmas' offense had a big night, peppering the Ducks with 31 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Michael Redmon.

Kyle Cote delivered for his team with 2 goals and Sam Sykes did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Fletcher Chun chipped in with 2 goals and Matt Goodman contributed with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

During the first, Sykes opened the scoring for Texas with a goal at 4:35 with helpers from his linemates, Bersani and Dekumbis. Redmon netted a goal at 8:07. Horton finally put the Ducks on the board with a goal at 13:58 with helpers from Trombly and Polcaro. Chun quickly followed with a goal at 15:11 with assists from teammates Goodman and Udris. Chun deposited a goal at 19:48 with helpers from Goodman and Polcaro.

During the second, Redmon answered for the Brahmas with a goal at 12:41 with an assist from defenseman Bickford. Cote put in a goal at 17:22 with helpers from Weycker and Croswell.

In the third period, Redmon scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 6:45 with an assist from Sykes. Cote deposited a goal at 9:28 with a helper from Seger. Goodman answered for the Ducks with a goal at 16:13. Bombardir answered for Texas with a goal at 19:14 with an assist from Redmon.

The Brahmas’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Myers’ big night as he stopped 30 of the 34 shots he faced. On the other hand, Myers’ counterpart, Bernardini, and Point Mallard’s defense had a rough outing stopping only 24 of 30 shots.

This win brings the Texas Brahmas’ record to (2-1-0-0).
