Players To Watch: Louisiana

Nov 26, 2015

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The Brahmas open their side of Military Appreciation Weekend on Friday when they drop the puck against the Louisiana Drillers at 2:05.

Dawned in their special edition jerseys, here’s who you’ll want to keep your eyes on during the three game series!

JACOB ELROD: #7 has been a vital part of the Brahmas back end so far this season and is expected to continue his impressive play this weekend.  His ability to break up opposition’s offensive attacks and spread the puck has paid dividends but there’s expected to be even more where that came from in the tank.

Elrod has a +16 rating through 19 games, so it’s evident good things happen when he’s on the ice.

RYAN DUNNER: In case you’re late to the party, Ryan Dunner is on fire.  The Brahmas captain has nine points in his last four games and he was even held pointless during one of them.  With multi-goal games in two out of his last three, Dunner could be poised to go off against the very same Drillers team.

#22 is averaging over a point per game, currently hoisting 28 through 18 games.

MYKYTA SHEPTYTSKY: Back during the team’s trip to Sugar Land in the opening set of November, “Shep” was blindsided and left with a concussion that caused him to miss the team’s most recent games against Louisiana.  He’s since been medically cleared and could be in the lineup this weekend.

The Ukraine native is a valuable asset to the Brahmas offensive production, averaging an assister per game and accompanying them with seven goals of his own.

Puck drop in each game this series will be 2:05 P.M. and is free of charge!
