Offense Takes Flight

Nov 29, 2015

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The Brahmas wrapped up Military Appreciation Weekend by scoring 10 goals en route to Brandon Perrone’s 10th win of the season.

In the first period the team struck for five, beginning with Garrett Culps’ first of the season.  Kyle Torgerson would then follow suit just moments later pushing the score to 2-0.  New York native Zack Andersen then scored twice before the period game to a conclusion, both coming parked in front of the net via a nice feed from Victor Ekk and tip off of a George Hansen rocket.   Then, in his return to the lineup Mykyta Sheptytsky added a goal to the score sheet, sending his team to intermission with a 5-0 lead.

Minutes 20-40 contained four more Brahmas goals led by two from the captain Ryan Dunner.  Later line-mates Oliver Hay and Dakota Davis would hook up to help each other add a goal.  Niklas McCallum picked up assists on both of those as well.

Sheptytsky added a second in the third period to wrap up the scoring at a massive final of 10-0.

Brandon Perrone was alert enough to stop all seven shots sent his way for his third shutout of the season.

The Brahmas now have an off weekend, a trip to Euless and then the NA3HL Showcase in Blaine, MN on the radar to wrap up the 2015 calendar year.  The next time the team has a home game is Friday, January 1, 2016 when they take on the very same Louisiana Drillers.

Admission for those games is free so we hope to see you then!
