Brahmas Roll Stars

Oct 10, 2016

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The Texas Brahmas swept the Euless Jr. Stars in a pair of games this week. After the weekend, the Brahmas are now 5-1-0 on the season and have the best goal differential in the South Division (+22).

Thursday’s final score was 8-1 with two goals in the first period and three in both the second and third. The team is showing great depth and teamwork with each of those goals being scored by a different Brahma. Seven Brahmas had multi-point games.

The Brahmas then hosted the Stars at home Friday night taking home a second big win with a final score of 9-1. Sly Rooney ignited the team’s momentum with two goals in the first 12 minutes of play. Texas went on to score in every period last week against Euless.  Cole Schulz led the way with six points and a plus-8 rating.

Goaltender Tyler Myers stopped 51 of 53 shots on goal and has all five Brahmas wins under his belt.

The Brahmas have this weekend off before traveling to Louisiana to face the Drillers on October 22 and 23. Your next chance to see them play at home is October 28 against College Station Spirit. The puck drop for the game against the Spirit is at 7:35pm.
