Brahmas Lock Up Weycker with Tender

May 11, 2015

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The Texas Brahmas are pleased to announce the addition of forward Bennett Weycker to the organization as the seventh player tendered this off-season.

Weycker (6'2", 205) already has a year of junior hockey experience under his belt, playing for the Marquette Royales in the Minnesota Junior Hockey League (MnJHL). The Appleton, Wisconsin native scored 15 points in 25 games through the regular season.

"Bennett brings the best of both worlds. He's a younger player but also has veteran experience," head coach Al Rooney said. "His size will be a good addition up front for us, amongst the forwards we already have. We have several small, speedy forwards so it's nice to bring in a veteran player of his size to balance us out up front."

Weycker (1997) still has three years of junior hockey eligibility remaining. The Brahmas have two tenders remaining to use prior to the June 16th NA3HL Draft. Be sure to keep up to date on all the off-season player transactions in the coming weeks.
