NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The Texas Brahmas will look to improve their 11-2-0 record this weekend as they host the Point Mallard Ducks for a two-game series. Saturday night puck drops at 8:05 pm and Sunday afternoon at 2:05 pm at Nytex Sports Centre.
The Brahmas are currently in second place in the NA3HL South Division. They are only one point behind The Euless Jr. Stars, who also host the Ducks this week. Those two teams match up Thursday and Friday.
The Brahmas will look to stop recent South Star of the Week and Ducks point leader, Jake Cox. The Ducks returning Georgia native has 13 goals and 8 assists this season. Rookie Elias Nilsson of Sweden will also be a player to look for in this game. He has racked up 18 points, including a shootout goal in the Duck most recent win. These two forwards will put up a fight against the Brahmas defense.
As far as goalies, Both Gary Glassman and Sam Gartner, have a 3.43 goals against average and Joey Bernardini 3.69. For the Brahmas, Tyler Myers only 1.66, Anthony D’aloisio 0.96 and Samuel Solomon 3.50.
